Brant Cavagnaro is a Senior Advisor and the Director of Investment Policy at Wealthstream Advisors. He is responsible for overseeing client portfolios, and working with clients on their estate, tax, and retirement planning. Brant also specializes in equity compensation and navigating tax pitfalls and risk strategies around owning concentrated positions in company stock. He spearheads the firm’s investment committee by analyzing current and potential investment strategies while also monitoring the implementation of Wealthstream’s internal strategy.
Prior to joining Wealthstream Advisors, Brant worked at a wealth management firm where he reviewed insurance needs, provided asset allocation recommendations, and prepared cash flow projections for clients. He also managed the firm’s blog, where he covered trending financial topics on a biweekly basis. Brant is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and a graduate of Northwestern University.
After gaining professional experience in the financial industry, Brant decided that he wanted to build his career at a firm where he would have ample opportunity to help clients achieve financial success while also pursuing a passion for analyzing investment portfolios and financial planning solutions.
Brant lives on Long Island, NY, with his wife and daughter. He enjoys working out and analyzing sports statistics.
